Stay from $200 a night, a 15-minute walk from Easts Beach. Check availability

Book wedding accommodation in Kiama for up to 30 guests, with up to five three-bedroom apartments on the same site for the wedding party, family and interstate guests. Each apartment sleeps six and has two bathrooms, so getting ready on the morning is easier.
Arrive on Friday, get ready together on Saturday and share a slow breakfast on Sunday, without anyone driving back to Sydney that night. Each apartment has garage parking for two cars, which helps when relatives arrive separately.

Find the route from the apartments to your venue. You can change the starting point to wherever you're driving from.

Not every Kiama wedding needs a venue for the vows. Kiama Council lists Attunga Avenue Reserve, a headland in Kiama Heights overlooking Easts Beach, as a wedding ceremony venue. Destination Kiama suggests it for intimate ceremonies, with Kaleula Head Reserve, also on Council's list, for a more casual coastal feel and Bonaira Native Gardens for a ceremony under native trees.
Public reserves are booked through Kiama Council with an application to hire a public reserve. Call Council on (02) 4232 0444 to check fees, timing and what you can set up before you send invitations.

Whichever apartment you choose, you get the same layout: three bedrooms, two bathrooms with walk-in showers, an open-plan kitchen, a laundry, a large alfresco balcony with a BBQ and garage parking for two cars. Four have a king, a queen and two singles, and 3-Bed with Alfresco Dining has a king, a queen and a double. Otherwise, the only difference is the floor.

Because every apartment is the same, deciding who goes where comes down to the floor. Put grandparents in one of the garden apartments on the ground floor, with no stairs to carry luggage up. If the dog is coming, keep it out of 3-Bed Apartment with Study Nook and read about bringing the dog to the wedding weekend, including the $200 pet cleaning fee.
When you're ready, compare the five three-bedroom apartments side by side or book several apartments for your wedding group.

From the Sydney CBD to our door it is 134 km, about 1 hour 45 minutes without traffic. Shellharbour Airport is about 20 minutes away by car, and Wollongong about 35.
Trains between Sydney and Kiama run hourly, according to Destination Kiama. Kiama station is a 27-minute walk (2.2 km) from the apartments, so guests with luggage or formal shoes will want a lift. Check train times on the Transport NSW trip planner.
Plan the trip home from the reception before the day. The Pavilion Kiama, for example, finishes weddings by 11:30pm. Destination Kiama lists Illawarra Taxi Network, Berry Taxi and Uber in the area, but a pre-booked taxi or shuttle is the surer option late at night. Each apartment has secure parking for two cars, so drivers can leave the car there overnight.
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am. If your ceremony is early on Saturday, arrive on Friday so the bridal party wakes up already in place.

Guests who have driven down from Sydney or flown in tend to stay on. A simple plan keeps everyone together without a group chat full of questions.
Still choosing a venue? The Kiama I Do wedding trail runs an open day, and The Pavilion Kiama lists the next one for Saturday 3 July 2027, 10am to 2pm. Details are on kiamaido.com.au, and Destination Kiama keeps a list of local venues and suppliers on its weddings page.
