Cook dinner and eat outside by the garden
3-Bed with Alfresco Dining is on the ground floor, beside the garden, with no stairs to the front door. Like every apartment here, it has a large alfresco balcony with outdoor dining and a BBQ for warm nights.
Do the prep in the open-plan kitchen, which has an oven, gas cooktop, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, cutlery and wine glasses. Inside, the dining table seats six.
A few house rules apply outside as well as in:
- No smoking at any time, including outdoors.
- Keep it quiet between 10pm and 8am. Neighbours live close by.
- No parties. A breach of the house rules can lead to a $500 fine.
- Before you leave, take the rubbish out to the right bins and switch off every appliance.
Visiting in summer? Restrictions apply to BBQs and outdoor cooking in NSW on a Total Fire Ban day, so check the NSW RFS fire danger ratings and total fire bans for the day before you light up.
Shop for the BBQ at the Wednesday farmers' market
Staying over a Wednesday? The Kiama Farmers' Market runs every week at Coronation Park, Surf Beach, on Manning Street in town. Visit NSW lists seafood and oysters, local Wagyu beef, fruit and vegetables, mushrooms, eggs, sourdough, cider and wine among the stalls, so you can buy the whole dinner in one stop.

Kiama town centre is about a 27-minute walk (2.3 km) from the apartment, or a short drive. The nearest bus stop is about 1 km away on Hillview Circuit, and the Transport NSW trip planner has the timetables.

Take a picnic down to Kendalls Beach
Some days you'll want to eat by the water instead. Kendalls Beach is a 16-minute walk (1.4 km) from the apartment, and Visit NSW notes picnic tables and barbecue facilities just metres from the sand.
It suits families. Visit NSW describes shallow water and gentle waves that make it popular with young children and less confident swimmers, and Chapman Point Reserve at the northern end is used for sports and events. MadeComfy lists the apartments as suitable for children aged 2 to 12.

Kendalls Beach

Picnic tables and barbecue facilities metres from the sand, shallow water and gentle waves for young swimmers, and Chapman Point Reserve at the northern end.

How far is the beach?
Easts Beach is about a 15-minute walk (1.3 kilometres) and Kendalls Beach about 16 minutes (1.4 kilometres). Kiama Ridge Waters is not on the beach itself.
Can I bring my dog?

Can we hold a party or event in the apartment?
No. Kiama Ridge Waters is accommodation only, and parties and events aren't allowed in the apartments or common areas. Groups staying for a wedding or celebration are welcome, as long as the celebration happens elsewhere.
